The first thing people do when they create a character is that they get lost, frustrated by the lack of a application even though a role playing site requires one. Below is a application for your characters and underneath them is a description on what each of the qualities mean and what you could do with them. A application isn't required or anything, just a tool to help you in the character creating process. I am going to cover skills/powers/abilities, species, and special talent to clear a few things up.
Name:
Gender:
Species:
Special Talent:
Skills/Powers/Abilities:
Gear:
Appearance:
Personality:
Bio:
Species
This can be anything from pony, canis sapiens, to human with all sub-species/races in between. There is no limits to this field; though if you have intentions on creating your own species, bear in mind to provide a description of who they and where they came from in a separate thread in the location board. But we'll get to species creation when we can lay the foundations to a consistent RP world.
Special Talent
What is your character exceptionally good at apart from combat? What have they done in their free time that astounded people? The thing that their friends and family recognized them for. This is mostly listed for pony characters that defines their cutie marks, outside of ponies it provides some insight into the leisurely activities of non-pony characters.
Skills/Powers/Abilities
This one can mean anything from survival skills to complete self sufficiency; if you are creating a mortal character you are most likely gonna lean towards the usage of knowledge (skills) in combat. However, there are exceptions to this; low leveled wizards, witches, Alicorns, mages, etc. are fully capable of learning various supernatural powers. When I mean powers of course I mean magic.
For gods, use your imagination, start with omnipotence for one thing, that word alone can describe immense supernatural strength your character is capable of possessing. Thermokineses, astropathy, molecular combustion, resurrection, precognition. All of those are perfect examples of what abilities a god-like character should have.
There is a limit to this though, all I ask of you is that you don't make a "One-Above-All" deity with unlimited powers.
